The JVC GR-SXM740U Super VHS-C Camcorder is a compact and portable device that offers 600x digital zoom capability and 16x optical zoom for clear and detailed footage. With a 3.5-inch LCD screen, this camcorder is easy to view and navigate through your recordings. Its sleek silver design adds a touch of style to your vlogging or recording setup. This camcorder comes with a bag, new battery, charger, instructions CD and cassette adapter, making it a complete package for all your filming needs. It original has two original batteries but don’t hold much charge so I had to order a new one. The JVC brand ensures quality and reliability in capturing standard definition videos on VHS-C tapes. The camera does turn on and record although the video footage looks great on the LCD once it’s recorded to the VHS, the footage looks very irritating. It may be the camera heads they need to be cleaned. I didn’t mess with it since I didn’t know what to do. But I can guarantee that camera does work and record just at the video footage. It’s messy. The adapter makes the mini tape viewing into a vhs and can switch it to a VCR.
